Create a buy X get Y promotion 

The Buy X Get Y promotion effectively boosts sales by incentivizing customers to purchase more with a gift or a discount on additional items. It also helps businesses clear inventory, increase brand awareness, and build customer loyalty. 

To create a Buy X Get Y promotion, you can follow the steps below. 

Step-by-step guide: 

Step 1: Log in to the Admin Page at: https://admin.gosell.biz/. 

Step 2: In the Promotion section, select Buy X get Y. 

Step 3: On the management page, select the Create Promotion button. 

Step 4: In the Create buy X get Y page: 

Create general information 

Step 5: Enter a Name for the campaign. 

Step 6: Set the Active date: 

  • You click on the calendar icon, select the start and end date, then click Apply. 
  • Tick the box No expiry date for the promotion to never expire. 

Step 7: Choose Nol limit or set a specific Limit per order. 

Choose application conditions 

Step 8: Select the customer group by ticking one of the two boxes below: 

  • All customers. 
  • Specific segment: 
  • Add a customer group by selecting the Add segments. 
  • Search for the group in the search bar or select from the displayed groups. 
  • Tick the box in front of the group you want to add, then click Save and OK to add the group. 

Step 9: Choose the Applies to by ticking one of the two boxes below: 

  • Promotion by combo: 
    • Add products to the combo. 
    • Search for the product in the search bar or select from the displayed products. 
    • Tick the box in front of the product you want to add, then edit the Variant and Required quantity according to the business’s plan and click Update. 
  • Any items on a list: 
  • Condition: Choose the minimum quantity/ the minimum purchase amount. 
  • List products: Choose a specifics product (add products) / collections (add collections). 

Step 10: Choose a gift/ giveaway products for the campaign by ticking one of the two boxes below: 

  • Product collection: 
    • Add a collection as a gift by selecting Add collection. 
    • Search for the collection in the search bar or select from the displayed collections. 
    • Tick the box in front of the collection you want to add, then click OK to finish. 
  • Specific products: 
    • Add a product as a gift by selecting Add products. 
    • Search for the product in the search bar or select from the displayed products. 
    • Tick the box in front of the collection you want to add, then click Update to finish. 

Step 11: Choose the Discount methods. 

  • First, set a maximum quantity of gift items. 
  • Next, tick to choose Free/ Discount on the giveaway product. 
  • If you choose a Discount on a giveaway product, enter a fixed discount amount or enter a discount percentage. 

Step 12: Choose the Applied branches by ticking one of the two boxes below: 

  • All branches. 
  • Specific branch: 
    • Select the discounted branch by clicking Select branch. 
    • Search for the product in the search bar or select from the available list. 
    • Tick the box in front of the branch you want to add, then click OK to finish. 

Step 13: Choose the campaign application platform by ticking the boxes below: 

  • Web. 
  • In-Store. 
  • GoCHAT. 

Step 14: After setting up all the information, select the Save button to complete and apply the Buy X Get Y promotion.
