Manage blog categories in GoSELL
Blog categories help you organize articles into a clear structure, making it easier for your customers to find related content. Here’s how to create and manage blog categories within your GoSELL online store.
Step-by-step guide:
Create a blog category
Step 1: Log in to the Admin Page at: https://admin.gosell.biz/.
Step 2: On the Online shop section, select Blog, then choose Category management.
Step 3: Click Create category a new category creation form will appear.
Step 4: Fill in the Category details:
- Category name: Keep it concise and descriptive.
- Description: Provide a brief overview of the category’s content.
- SEO settings: Optimize for search engines using relevant keywords and descriptions.

- SEO Title: Include your main keyword, keep it under 60 characters, and make it engaging.

- SEO Description: Briefly summarize the category’s content (290-325 characters) and include related keywords.

- SEO Keywords: List relevant keywords separated by commas (e.g., keyword 1, keyword 2, etc.).

- URL Slug: This will automatically generate based on your category name, but you can customize it.
Step 5: Click Save to create the new category.
Manage blog categories
The Category management page provides an overview of all your existing categories. You can easily view details for each category, including the Category Name, and Description, and perform actions such as View, Edit, or Delete.
To display blog posts on your online store’s homepage, you should follow these steps:
Step 1: Access your website’s homepage editor.
Step 2: Add the Blog posts section to your layout.
Step 3: Select the desired blog categories you want to display.
Step 4: Click Save to update the changes, and then click Publish to make this blog category live on your website.
