Track and export inventory history 

GoSELL’s inventory tracking and export feature makes it easy to manage and stay updated on your stock levels. Track detailed product history across multiple channels and branches, monitor activity timestamps, and see which staff members made changes. Follow the steps below to start using this feature today. 

Step–by–step guide: 

Track inventory 

Step 1: Log in to the Admin Page at: https://admin.gosell.biz/. 

Step 2: Click on the Products section, then select Inventory. 

Step 3: Choose Inventory History. 

Content in the Inventory History section: 

  • Search bar: Sellers can search for products by name or barcode. 

  • Filter inventory by time: Helps sellers filter product quantity changes within a specific time frame, such as day, month, or year. 

  • Filter by branch: Helps sellers track products and their quantities at each branch. 

  • All operator: View users who have edited inventory. 

  • Filter by action: Choose to view actions related to inventory: 
    • Change stock: The number of items in stock for any product.
    • Set stock: Establish the starting inventory level for a product. 
    • Restock: Order or acquire more units of a product to replenish inventory. 
    • Goods in transaction: Track items as they move between locations or through sale stages. 
    • Goods delivered: Confirm that a shipment has reached its destination and update inventory accordingly. 
    • Edit order: Modify the contents, quantities, or other details of an existing order. 
    • Return order: Process the return of previously purchased goods and update inventory. 
    • Goods import: Bring in a bulk quantity of goods to add to your inventory system. 
    • Goods imported: Reflect the successful addition of imported goods to your available inventory. 
    • Goods import canceled: Cancel a pending import order, preventing those goods from entering inventory. 

Exporting inventory history 

Steps 1, 2, and 3: Follow the same steps as tracking inventory history. 

Step 4: Click on the Export button and choose Export inventory. 

 A notification will appear upon successful export. 

Exported data includes reports on Inventory In-Out and Inventory History: 

  • Inventory In-Out Summary: The Inventory In-Out Summary provides a consolidated view of each product’s movement, including branch, SKU, name, price, quantity (beginning, inbound, outbound, ending), and value. All data is automatically compiled on a single sheet for effortless tracking and reconciliation. 
  • Inventory History: Inventory History details each product’s journey, including its name, branch, and actions taken (e.g., stock added, returned, order edited, in/completed transaction, shipped, sold). Transaction ID, timestamp, and user are also provided for efficient sales process review and timely customer support. 

You can review the history by clicking on the Export button and selecting Export History. 

The Export history displays a list of downloadable files. You can download a file by clicking on it.
