Use customer tags to segment customer data
Customer tags are specially named labels that merchants place on customers or customer groups. A customer tag is used to categorize or organize customers into groups to apply any discount codes, reward points, buy X get Y,etc. This helps you implement more personalized and effective marketing campaigns.
Step 1: Log in to the GoSELL admin page (Link: https://admin.gosell.biz/login).
Step 2: On the admin dashboard, click on the Customers category, then select Segmentation.
Step 3: The system will automatically redirect you to the Segment page, then click on Create Segment.
Step 4: Provide complete information about the customer group, including:
- Customer Group Name: Mandatory.
- Conditions: To categorize customers by tags, click on Customer Data => Customer Tag => Enter the specific tag keyword in the search box.
- Apply Conditions: Meet one of the following criteria:
- Any conditions: Customers only need to meet one of the conditions you have set.
- All Conditions: Customers must meet all the conditions you have set.
Step 5: Review the newly created group information, then click Save to complete the process.
Note:
- To apply conditions other than customer tags, click on Add Condition and select the criteria you want to segment.
